I'm concerned about disrupting my family during remodeling. How can you help us with that?
Having a portion of or the entirety of your home being dismantled and remodeled can be stressful, and as owner of our New York City remodeling company, I believe this is another area of the home remodeling business where we shine.
A very important part of my job as the proprietor is to keep customers apprised of the progress made, as well as what to expect in the near future throughout the duration of the remodel. This regular communication can be scheduled at the customer's request throughout the entire project. Morning, noon, or evening, I make myself available to discuss your project at your convenience.
What size of remodeling projects do you do?
Our services include everything from full apartment renovations to the painting of a single room, with all of the work preformed by an employee(s) of Michael Ellison General Contracting, Inc. Some projects involve subcontracting specialists to do specific jobs, but we take care of working with them to complete your project. We have a long, solid relationship with all types of specialists, so there's no worries for you about quality workmanship.
I've never done remodeling before, what type of help can I expect from your company?
Navigating most home improvement projects can be stressful, especially if you've never done it before. With over 20 years of experience in the home remodeling field in New York City, we provide homeowners with a solid foundation of knowledge and information vital to complete a successful remodeling project. Don't stress, you'll get all the help you need from our experienced remodeling company.
What is a general contractor and how are they different from regular remodeling contractors?
Someone who just does remodeling may not be licensed in New York as a general contractor. General contractors manage the remodeling project completely including managing the subcontractors who do specialty work like remodeling design, drywall repair, tile floor work, electrical, or plumbing. Some general contractors can do it all so they'll only bring in specialists when necessary.
Michael Ellison General Contracting, Inc. is a licensed general contractor who has long-standing relationships with some of the best remodeling specialists, suppliers, stone countertop fabricators, and custom cabinetry manufacturers in New York City.
